HuaXin / Shanghai / China; May 2003: The wastewater situation required an ecological and economical solution. The demand of the local government was to reach this result the local facts should be used.

 

October 2003: The vertical flow constructed wetland was settled into the channel. The first construction period was designed for a daily load of 80 m³. The extension of 600 m³ per day is provided.

 

To distribute the wastewater over the whole filter surface, trickle pipes are placed on the top.

 

This plant is suitable for the wastewater of 400 inhabitants including stormwater overflows Odensachsen, Germany

Decentralized natural sewage plants work on high quality level. The costs of purification are much lower than in a central plant requiring large pipelines.
